Diskbuilder 4.3.2 for Windows
The download is a self-extracting executable that you can install anywhere on your pc.
No administrative privileges are required.
Once the download is complete, you will need to unblock the file via file properties as Windows will tag the file as 'unsafe' because it comes from an online, and therefore, untrusted source.
To do this, right-click on the executable, choose properties and click the 'unblock' button at the bottom if it exists.
You're now ready to run the installer; See the installation and configuration instructions below.

Installation and Configuration
1. Unzip (if applicable)
2. Double-click the exe and choose a target directory on your PC.
Please note that the software doesn’t run from a network drive so choose somewhere on your C drive or equivalent.
We recommend you install into C:\DB
3. Set the Build Directory target
By default, Diskbuilder will create projects in the currently logged in user's temp directory e.g.
C:\Users\AppData\Local Settings\Temp\
We recommend you change this to a directory on the root e.g.C:\Build\
to do this, open C:\DB\Diskbuilder-4.3.2\inc\modules\app.ini in notepad and change the builddir key from:builddir=0
to:builddir=C:\Build
The main reason for this is to maximise the number of usable characters in your document paths and to avoid losing projects through temp directory clearance.4.You're now ready to run the software.
